Migrant worker injured in Tral; investigating circumstances: Officials - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 24: A non-local labourer was shot at and injured in Batagund of south Kashmir’s Tral area on Thursday morning, reports said.

Quoting official news agency GNS reported that in a suspected militant attack, one non-local labourer from UP was injured.

   

Police is ascertaining the cause of injury to the labourer, top police official said.

Sources said, the labourer is minorly injured even as they said no bullet cartridge has yet been spotted near the incident site.

Soon after the incident, joint team of police and security forces launched searches to find the attackers.

A bullet-riddled body of a labourer from the eastern state of Bihar had been recovered from Kashmir’s Shopian region last week.
