For some it could bring an early taste of festive cheer. For others it could bring disruption and a nightmare of a commute.

Snow is forecast for parts of Nottinghamshire overnight on Monday, November 18 and into Tuesday, November 19. A 15-hour yellow Met Office weather warning for snow and ice comes into effect at 7pm on Monday.

Forecasters have warned of travel disruption and the possibility of power cuts as Arctic air makes its way across the UK. The extent of any snowfall in Nottinghamshire hinges on how far south the cold front moves.
