'Infuriating' woman on flight slammed for 'selfish act' - but others defend her

The dream of heading off on holiday is delightful, but the journey there can often be anything but. Between lengthy drives, airport queues, and worries about delays, travel comes loaded with potential stressors.

This perhaps explains why one man's frustration bubbled over when a woman affected his in-flight experience. Sharing his irritation on Reddit, he posted an image showing only the back of the woman's head – her hair draping over his screen with the caption, "Woman kept covering my screen with her hair during a flight."

In the photo, it's clear to see the majority of his monitor is obscured, likely curtailing his movie-watching plans prematurely.

The incident sparked lively debate online, with some branding the hair-draping move as utterly "selfish" for blocking his view. To solve such a simple problem, she would have just needed to reposition her hair slightly.

Tensions ruffled, this travel tale has rustled up more than a few reactions. There were even some humorous retorts; one person suggested: "Start making braids, if she turns say you were bored.", reports Birmingham Live.

Another added their two cents saying, "I was going to suggest learning to tie knots. YouTube has many tutorials. And there are many strands to knot."

Conversely, a segment of the commentators proposed that the coiffure conundrum could have been unintentional. Despite it being an annoyance during his trip, other netizens reasoned that the issue could have been simply resolved.

Another person commented: "Have you told her? People are dumb, and won't notice people around them unless spoken to."

Another individual stated: "Speaking as a person with long hair, she must know. I always know where my hair hanging."

One more person suggested: "Maybe just ask her to move her ponytail? She probably has no idea all this is going on right behind her. No violence or violent thoughts necessary."
