A number of appeals have been shared in the last few weeks

Police in Nottinghamshire are appealing for the public's help in identifying people they hope could be the key to solving several important cases.

The force has shared images of people they would like to speak to in hopes of gaining more information about incidents.

Anyone who recognises those pictured has been asked to call the force on 101, or make contact via the police Facebook page or website.

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and give the identity of the person shown, quoting the reference number accompanying the picture. Information can also be given online via their website.

Abuse incident on Ilkeston Road

Officers would like to speak with this woman in connection with an abuse incident.
A man is said to have been abused and spat at in a mini market on Ilkeston Road.
The incident happened on Monday, March 2, just after 5pm.

Vandalism in Retford

Police are looking to speak with the person pictured in collection with a vandalism incident in Retford.
Reports from the public detailed that in that the plaque had been pulled from the ground, then thrown into a nearby fountain in Kings Park.

Witness appeal after man hit by car in Newark

Officers would like to speak with the woman pictured after a man was hit by a car.
He was standing outside a Newark pub in the car park when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle.
The man sustained several fractures following the collision outside The Lord Ted, in Farndon Road.
This happened around 4pm on April 18, but wasn’t reported to the police until a day later.

Car theft in Bakersfield

Police investigating the theft of a car would like to speak with this man.
A Nissan Navara was reportedly taken from outside a car dealership in Oakdale Road, Bakersfield, between 5.30pm and 8.30pm on May 7.

Vandalism in Bilsthorpe

Officers would like to speak with this man in connection with vandalism in Crompton Park, Bilsthorpe.
Graffiti was discovered on multiple ramps during the incident at the skatepark, which happened around 9am on April 6.

Scrap metal theft in West Bridgford

Police investigating the theft of scrap metal have released an image of a man they would like to speak with.
The incident took place at a car dealership in Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, on 7 April.
A van with the number plate YT64 VAL was spotted in the local area.
Scrap metal and electric cables were then taken from storage bins outside the address.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage following the incident.
They are now in a position to release this image of an individual they believe could have important information about what happened.
Sergeant James Robinson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We would ask anyone who recognises the person in this photo to please get in touch with us.
“We believe that they could have information that can assist us with our investigation, so we are very keen to speak to them.”
