Arrest after report of man exposing himself to women in Nottingham city centre

A man has been arrested after police were called to reports of an individual exposing himself to two women on a busy street in Nottingham city centre. Officers were called to Lister Gate at around 11.15pm on Wednesday, October 30.

A 31-year-old man was arrested within minutes on suspicion of exposure. He was taken into custody for questioning.

Sergeant Jono Pothecary said: "This was an extremely upsetting incident for the victims and we are grateful to them for assisting officers in making this arrest.

"Nottinghamshire Police treats all offences of this nature extremely seriously. In this case we arrested a suspect within minutes of the report and will continue to act fast whenever incidents such as this are reported to us."
