Flight to Hong Kong delayed by bomb threat; PNP says all clear
by Ian Laqui · philstarMANILA, Philippines — A Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight en route to Hong Kong has been temporarily suspended after a security threat, the flag carrier said.
In a statement on Thursday, July 2, PAL said that flight PR300 was temporarily held on Thursday morning.
According to media reports, the security threat was a bomb threat.
The Philippine National Police Civil Aviation Security Unit also declared the plane clear of threats, according to a GMA News report.
The flight was already cleared for departure, according to PAL.
Philippine National Police Civil Aviation Security Unit has yet to issue an official statement about the matter.
