Federal agents have raided former Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell’s Washington home and seized electronic devices as part of an investigation linked to sexual assault allegations.

According to CNN, citing sources familiar with the investigation, agents seized devices from Swalwell at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday before searching his home in Washington, DC, the following day.

The searches are part of an ongoing federal investigation connected to allegations of sexual assault against the former California congressman, according to the network.

Swalwell resigned from Congress in April after reports came out of allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

Following those reports, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department opened separate criminal investigations into Swalwell.

Three women who have publicly made sexual misconduct allegations against the former congressman also told CNN that they had spoken with the FBI.

Authorities have not publicly announced charges against Swalwell in connection with the allegations.
