Berlin pride event canceled after vehicle drives into crowd

Berlin's annual Pride event,Christopher Street Day (CSD), has been canceled after a police incident involving several injured people.
"We believe that a vehicle entered the Tiergarten park and hit several people and injured them," police posted on social media.
Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Berlin to advocate for tolerance and diversity, culminating in a show on Saturday night at the Brandenburg Gate.
Police have asked people to avoid the area around Tiergarten, saying a "major operation" was underway.
"We believe that a vehicle entered the Tiergarten park and hit several people and injured them," police posted on social media.
In a statement, police said multiple officers and Berlin Fire Department rescue crews were deployed in to the Tiergarten area after a vehicle was believed to have driven into people there, injuring several. The injured were being treated by emergency personnel.
Police said they were conducting an intensive manhunt for suspects.
