April 27 : Chip toolmaker Tokyo Electron has cuts ties with veteran executive Jay Chen after the Japanese firm discovered his ties to investment vehicles backing a new generation of Chinese competitors, the Financial Times reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
