In Walyeamah, Senator Moye responded directly to concerns regarding access to education and safe drinking water, praising residents for their collaboration in constructing an elementary school and assuring them of his commitment to securing official government accreditation for the institution, a move expected to unlock additional support and staffing, while also outlining broader development strategies embedded in a proposed county budget designed to expand infrastructure and strengthen social services throughout the district.
At Geayah and nearby communities, the senator reflected on his earlier tenure as Representative, highlighting contributions to education, healthcare, and road rehabilitation executed under a USAID-supported initiative, while noting that his return to the area signals a renewed effort to evaluate both ongoing and completed projects, as he pledged to engage the Ministry of Public Works over delays affecting a government-funded road project and reaffirmed his intention to advocate for key development priorities at the national level, including direct engagement with President Joseph Boakai.
In Gaoquelleh town, Senator Moye expressed gratitude for sustained community support and reiterated his longstanding involvement in improving educational access and road infrastructure, emphasizing that his current engagements are rooted in development rather than political ambition, while pointing to major initiatives proposed under the county’s social development fund as pathways for future growth and transformation.
At Nyarta, attention turned to healthcare, where the senator recalled his role in constructing a clinic in 2014 and committed to further renovations and upgrades, stressing the importance of maternal healthcare services and pledging targeted interventions to enhance care for expectant mothers, including improved facilities and additional resources.
The highlight of the tour unfolded in Yeniwoin town, where a large gathering of residents from across the clan welcomed the senator, who used the opportunity to call for unity and collective progress, urging citizens to move beyond divisions and focus on shared development goals, while assuring them of continued support through administrative infrastructure projects and road rehabilitation initiatives, particularly in anticipation of new construction equipment allocated to Bong County.
In Naayalah, Senator Moye extended his commitments to include support for education and governance infrastructure, promising assistance for the construction of a town hall and a local authority center, alongside the provision of essential building materials to strengthen administrative capacity at the community level.
Across all the towns visited, the senator distributed lappers to women, recognizing their vital role in sustaining community development and social cohesion, a gesture that was widely appreciated and symbolized his effort to connect directly with grassroots stakeholders.
Senator Moye stood said: “I have not come here merely to revisit familiar grounds or to remind you of what has been done in the past, but rather to listen carefully to what remains undone and to work alongside you in ensuring that every promise translates into tangible improvements in your daily lives, because true leadership is measured not by speeches but by the lasting impact we create together through action and accountability,” Senator Moye declared during one of the gatherings.
“In Yeniwoin and across this district, the path forward must be defined by unity of purpose and a shared commitment to development, where every road constructed, every school supported, and every clinic improved becomes a symbol of what we can achieve when government and citizens move in the same direction with trust, determination, and a clear vision for a better future,” he further emphasized, reinforcing his message of collective responsibility and sustained progress.
Through immediate interventions announced during the tour, the senator committed to providing a motorbike for school operations in Walyeamah, financial support for volunteer teachers, cement for renovations, and the construction of a hand pump, while also pledging to address stalled road projects in Geayah, rehabilitate damaged water systems in Gwakoiquelleh, upgrade healthcare facilities in Nyarta, construct a clan office and improve roads in Yeniwoin, and support governance infrastructure in Naayalah, demonstrating a comprehensive approach aimed at addressing both urgent needs and long-term development priorities across the region.
