LG, CM extend greetings on Sant Ravidas Jayanti

Jammu Tawi: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, to be celebrated on Sunday.

In his message, the LG said Guru Ravidas Ji exemplified compassion, unity, equality, and human dignity, dedicating his life to social service and change. He urged people to recommit to the saint’s teachings and work towards a more caring and inclusive society.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah highlighted Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings of equality, social justice, and universal brotherhood, calling upon citizens to imbibe these values in daily life. He wished everyone happiness, peace, and prosperity on the occasion.
