Bus Overturns in Ramban’s Sangaldan, One Dead, Several Injured

Ramban, May 19: One person was killed and several others injured after a passenger bus overturned on the Gool-Sangaldan road near Sangaldan in Ramban district on Monday.

The bus (JK02CU-7482) reportedly went out of control and turned turtle near Sangaldan, leaving one passenger dead on the spot and injuring around 11 to 12 others, according to initial reports.

Police, rescue teams, and local volunteers rushed to the scene and launched rescue operations soon after the accident. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further details are awaited. (Agencies)
