J&K: 3 Arrested for Alleged Sacrilegious Act in Doda

The arrests were made following information about the incident that took place late Wednesday night in Sarsi village. Police said a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Doda police station soon after the incident came to light.
The alleged killing of a bovine animal triggered protests by local residents in the area, prompting swift police action. Officials said the three accused were subsequently identified and taken into custody.
