J&K: 15 Injured as SMVDU Staff Bus Crashes Near Jhajjar Kotli

JAMMU, Aug 21: At least 15 people were injured after a staff bus of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) met with an accident near Jhajjar Kotli in Jammu district on Friday, officials said.

According to an official, the accident was allegedly caused by brake failure while the bus was travelling through the Jhajjar Kotli area.

The injured were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Their condition was not immediately known.

Police and other emergency teams reached the spot and initiated necessary proceedings following the accident.
