Health Minister J P Nadda Hospitalised, Undergoes Coronary Angiography

NEW DELHI, Aug 14: Union Health Minister J P Nadda was admitted to AIIMS Delhi after experiencing uneasiness and underwent coronary angiography, the hospital said on Friday.

Nadda was admitted on Thursday evening and is currently stable, with doctors keeping him under observation in the cardiology department, according to an AIIMS statement.

“Union Health Minister JP Nadda was evaluated for uneasiness with tests, including a coronary angiography on the evening of August 13, 2026,” the hospital said.

The hospital added that Nadda is stable and has been admitted for observation in the Department of Cardiology.

The Health Minister’s hospitalisation comes ahead of Independence Day celebrations on August 15. (Agencies)
