NTA Declares NEET-UG 2026 Re-Exam Results; Over 11 Lakh Qualify

New Delhi, Jul 17: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday declared the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 re-examination, with over 11 lakh candidates qualifying for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and allied courses across the country.

The NTA said scorecards of all candidates have been uploaded on its official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and are now available for download.

According to the agency, the results were announced on schedule to ensure that the medical admission and counselling process remains on track without affecting the academic calendar.

Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination, which was conducted at 5,440 examination centres across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

The qualifying candidates will now be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and other allied health programmes based on their ranks and eligibility criteria.
