J&K Police Head Constable Dies After Falling Unconscious At SKPA Udhampur

Udhampur, Jul 4: A Head Constable of the Jammu and Kashmir Police died after collapsing during training at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) in Udhampur on Saturday, officials said.

The policeman, identified as Bashir Anjum, a resident of Gursai village in the Mendhar area of Poonch district, suddenly fell unconscious while undergoing training at the academy.

He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, officials said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and are ascertaining the exact cause of death. Further investigation is underway.
