Jammu Tawi, Jul 06: On his maiden visit to the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), the BJP national president, Nitin Nabin, on Monday said that very soon the lotus will also blossom/bloom in Kashmir like Jammu and entire J&K will become ‘Bhajpamaya’.
This was stated by the BJP national president during his address at Majestic Grand, Mishriwala, in Jammu outskirts today afternoon on occasion of birth anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukhejee.
“The way the BJP workers have been working hard here at ground level in J&K and due to the policies of Modi Government, the day is not far when we will have a BJP government here in J&K,” the BJP national president said during his maiden address at Jammu and exhorted upon the party leaders and the workers to reach out to the people and address their day to day problems.
Nabin said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is committed for the overall development of J&K. “Earlier, the parties here in J&K used to discriminate with Jammu but the BJP Government led by PM made sure that Jammu does not face this and every region gets its full share without any discrimination,” the BJP national president said.
Wearing the traditional Dogra turban, the BJP national president, during his address said, “The day is not far when lotus will bloom in Kashmir like Jammu and entire J&K will become Bhjpamaya”.
“The abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A ensured complete integration of J&K with India and J&K is now an integral and inseparable no part of India and one can change this” Nitn Nabin said.
The PM Modi led government is committed for the overall development of J&K without any discrimination and welfare of the forward border villages is the topmost priority of Modi Government, he said.
Nabin said that before 2014, corruption was the main issue but the Modi Government has its commitment of zero tolerance against corruption.
Before 2014, the national flag was not unfurled in Kashmir, he said, while adding, now it is being unfurled in the heart of Kashmir.
A record number of tourists have been visiting J&K due to the safe environment provided by the Modi Government, he said.
The people must learn from the struggle of Mukherjee who made his supreme sacrifice to make sure that country has one ‘Samvidan, one Nishan and and one Nishan, he said.
Art 370 abrogation brought ‘real freedom’ to JK: Nabin
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Monday said the people of Jammu and Kashmir attained their “real freedom” after the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35-A in 2019 and expressed confidence that the BJP would eventually form the government in the Union Territory.
Addressing a ‘Karyakarta Sammelan’ at Mishriwala on the outskirts of Jammu on the concluding day of the nationwide celebrations marking the 125th birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Nabin said the constitutional changes made by the Narendra Modi-led government fulfilled Dr Mookerjee’s vision of fully integrating Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the country.
Recalling his participation in the Rashtriya Ekta Yatra in 2011 as Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national general secretary, Nabin said he was part of a delegation that sought permission to unfurl the tricolour at Lal Chowk but was denied. He alleged that curfew was imposed to prevent the programme.
Claiming that only those with a “blinkered vision” fail to recognise the changes in J&K, he said the present situation stands in contrast to the past when hoisting the national flag at Lal Chowk was opposed on law and order grounds.
Nabin said Jammu and Kashmir was moving towards a new era of peace, development and prosperity. “Today, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are known as Ranji Trophy champions and not stone pelters,” he said.
