Srinagar, Dec 21: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were severely affected on Sunday due to adverse weather, resulting in the cancellation of 15 flights till 1:00 pm, officials said.

An airport official said poor visibility and unfavorable conditions disrupted both arrivals and departures, with two scheduled arrival flights still pending and four departure flights remaining on hold at the apron as of 1:00 pm.

The ongoing bad weather caused significant inconvenience to passengers, many of whom were stranded at the airport. Travelers have been advised to stay in close contact with their airlines for real-time updates before heading to the airport.

Authorities warned that due to prevailing adverse weather across several parts of North India, flight delays, cancellations, and rescheduling may continue. “Passengers are advised to check the latest flight status with their airlines before commencing their journey.
