Two Jammu Students Killed In Bus Accident On Amritsar-Pathankot Highway

Chandigarh, May 22: Two students from Jammu were killed and five others injured after a private bus overturned on the Amritsar-Pathankot National Highway on Friday, police said.

The deceased, both around 23 years old, were studying at a college in Punjab, Station House Officer Rajwant Kaur said.

According to police, around 10 students were travelling in the bus at the time of the accident.

Five injured passengers, including three who suffered head injuries, were shifted to a hospital in Gurdaspur for treatment, the officer said.

Police said the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. (Agencies)
