IAS Officers Sarmad Hafeez, Mohd Aijaz Assad redesignated as Commr Secy, Secy

Jammu, Jan 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced the redesignation of two IAS officers, Sarmad Hafeez and Mohammad Aijaz Assad, following their recent promotions. Hafeez has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) and will now serve as the Commissioner Secretary of the Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Department. Meanwhile, Assad, promoted to the Selection Grade (Level 13), has been appointed as the Secretary of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department.

The promotions and redesignations are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and leadership in key sectors.
