Two sisters die after snakebite in Rajouri

Jammu Tawi, Sep 13: Two minor sisters died after being bitten by a snake at Manma Barmari village in the Kalakote subdivision of Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.

An official said that the sisters were sleeping in a room along with other family members when a snake appeared on the bed and bit both of them.

The sisters were immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment; however, they succumbed to the poison. The deceased were identified as Amiba (5) and Amiza (3), both residents of Rajouri.
