School Picnic Permissions Cancelled in Jammu Amid Adverse Weather

Jammu, Dec 22: In view of prevailing adverse weather conditions and concerns over student safety, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu on Monday cancelled all previously granted permissions for school picnics scheduled from December 22 onwards, officials said.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the CEO Jammu, all permissions granted to government and private recognised schools for organising picnics from December 22 stand cancelled.

The order stated that all earlier permissions are cancelled ab initio to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Authorities have directed all concerned institutions to strictly comply with the directive. (KNC)
