Peace Education Prog concludes in Kathua

KATHUA, Aug 22: A five-day Peace Education Programme (PEP), aimed at promoting self-awareness, inner strength and positive human values among educators, concluded at Boys Higher Secondary School, Kathua.

Organized under the initiative of The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), with the support of the District Administration and Education Department, the programme was attended by 50 principals and  teachers from Government Higher Secondary Schools.

Addressing the participants, CEO Kewal Krishan lauded the initiative, observing that such programmes provided teachers an opportunity to reflect on their own well-being while strengthening their ability to create a positive and supportive environment for students. He appreciated the facilitators and volunteers for their efforts in conducting the sessions.

While addressing, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua Rajesh Sharma appreciated TPRF team for organising the programme and said initiatives focusing on peace, self-awareness and inner well-being were valuable for educators as they played an important role in shaping the personality and outlook of students.

It was facilitated by Shivali Modgil, Neelam Singh and Divya Singh, with support from TPRF volunteers and others.

During the closing ceremony, certificates of participation were presented to all participants.

ADC Mahima Madan, DEPO Anjana Manyal, District Nodal Officer Deepak Sharma, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua Rajesh Sharma, school staff and members of the TPRF team were also present.

The organisers expressed gratitude to the District Administration, Education Department and participants for their support and active participation.
