With the objective of  protecting  the faith, culture and traditions of the tribal community  and to promote public awareness that a “Tribal Cultural Confluence” (Janjati Sanskrutik Samagam)  is going to be  organized on 24th May 2026 at the Red Fort  , Delhi, on the sacred occasion of the 150th birth anniversary year of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.   The representatives of tribal communities, social workers, women , youths and intellectuals from various parts of the country are going to  participate  in this historical gathering , showcasing their unique identities , traditional attire and musical instruments. Being organized by Janjati Suraksha Manch and Janjati Jagruti Manch ,this confluence will offer a significant opportunity to directly experience the cultural identity, traditional values and collective consciousness of tribal society.
According to  the tribal – right activist and the chief of Legal-cell of  Janjati  Suraksha Manch, Supreme Court Advocate Vikrant Kumre that overall 4 to 5lakhs Tribals are going to attend in  ‘Hunkar  Rally’ , a part of  the event.
Notably, the conversion of Hindus through the service-education-medical treatment has been one of the biggest threats that the country has been facing since a long time  . To get into the real picture  the  first Chief minister  of undivided Madhya Pradesh , Pandit Ravi Shanker Shukla formed the Niyogi Commission headed by the former Chief Justice of High Court ,Bhavani Shanker Niyogi, in 1954. And when the report tabled , the country knew  that  the ultimate aim of the missionary is to sow the tendency of denationalization through the conversion. Above this , how disturbing is this that the 5% people converted by the same missionaries  are usurping as much as 60% of the total  benefits  themselves alone through the reservation provisions  made for the    ST community .  It was then only that Baba Kartik Oraon felt the need for initiating the ‘Delisting- Movement’  in order to delist  non- Hindus beneficiaries , pointed out  Vikrant Kumre.
In the  Janjati Sanskrutik Samagam the issue of delisting is also going to be highlighted. Over 500 tribal representatives from the country will take part in the event, Kumre further added !
“ The tribal way of living  is marked by the continuous process of generation to generation passing-on of the legacy of indigenous  knowledge system of medicines; agricultural know-how;  cultural values,  and social disciplines there of .   The event will offer an opportunity  to younger generation to get into the metaphysics behind the  various ancient traditional practices continued to be observed still today”,  underlying the  broader purpose Janajati Samagam , so tells  P Suryanarayan ( National Organizing Secretary , Janjati Suraksha Manch) .
