Anti-Encroachment Drive Conducted Near Maha Maya Temple in Jammu’s Bandi

JAMMU, May 19: The administration on Monday carried out a major anti-encroachment drive near the Maha Maya Temple at Bandi to remove alleged illegal occupations from government land.

Officials said the operation was jointly conducted by the revenue department, forest authorities, and police to ensure a smooth and peaceful execution of the drive.

During the drive, several structures reportedly raised on public land were removed by the authorities as part of the clearance exercise.

Officials said such operations will continue to protect government land and curb further encroachments in the area. (Agencies)
