DM Doda Imposes Ban On Large Gatherings To Maintain Public Order

DODA, May 3: To prevent potential public disturbance and ensure the safety of residents, the District Magistrate of Doda, Krishan Lal, has issued an official order under Section 163 of the BNSS banning all unauthorized assemblies of five or more people.

The restriction specifically targets several key locations, including Clock Tower Chowk, Dessa Road, and areas within a 100-meter radius of the JK Sports Stadium, where officials noted plans for unorganized demonstrations that could obstruct commuters and threaten local peace.
