UGC-NET Re-exam Results for English, Commerce, Sociology Declared

NEW DELHI, Sept 18: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday declared the results of the re-examination of UGC-NET June 2026 papers for English, Commerce and Sociology, conducted following complaints over errors in the question papers.

The NTA announced that candidates who appeared for the retest can view and download their scorecards through the official UGC-NET website.

The English paper was re-conducted on September 9 from 9 am to noon in the first shift, while the Commerce paper was held the same day from 3 pm to 6 pm in the second shift. The Sociology paper was conducted on September 10 from 9 am to noon.

The NTA had announced the re-examination of the three papers last month after receiving complaints regarding several errors in the question papers of the UGC-NET June 2026 examination.

The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was conducted by the NTA from June 22 to 30 across 87 subjects. The examination is held for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes.

The agency urged candidates who appeared in the re-examination to check their scorecards through the official website.
