Witnesses sought after alleged attack at Havre des Pas festival

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a serious eye injury during an alleged assault at the Havre des Pas Festival on Saturday night.
The incident happened at around 9.34pm outside the dance tent on the beach.
The injured man was treated at the scene before being taken to Jersey General Hospital, where he remains under medical care, the force said.
Officers are particularly keen to identify one man described as white, broad-built, in his early to mid-20s, with short red hair in a buzz-cut hairstyle. Police believe he was with a larger group of men at the time.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the assault, saw the events leading up to it, or captured photographs or video footage in the area around the dance tent at the relevant time to come forward.
