Ex-Ghana Premier League star Sam Ayew Yeboah's wife dead

Former Liberty Professionals midfield icon Sam Ayew Yeboah is mourning following the death of his wife, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

Sherri Yeboah died on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Texas, United States, after a prolonged battle with bone cancer.

She is reported to have fought the illness for the past three years.

Yeboah was a member of the Ghana squad which won silver at the inaugural CHAN competition in Cot D’Ivoire in 2019.

He was once called into the senior national team call-up 2008 in a friendly against Tanzania.
