Barcelona have made an official offer to Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge for the services of 18-year-old Belgian-born Ghanaian winger Jesse Bisiwu ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from Spanish media.

The left-footed attacker, who currently plays for Club Brugge's U19 side, has been identified as a prime target by the Catalan giants' recruitment department. Barcelona are now awaiting a response from the Belgian club after tabling a bid for the highly rated youngster.

Spanish tabloid Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona's head of scouting, Joao Amaral, has completed all necessary arrangements in pursuit of the budding star.

However, Club Brugge are playing hardball, determined to retain their academy graduate as a future prospect at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Bisiwu has made 23 appearances for Club NXT across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Despite featuring for Belgium's youth national teams, his Ghanaian heritage means he remains eligible to represent Ghana at senior level.

Barcelona are now waiting for Club Brugge's response.
