STAR WARS Is Officially Crossing Over With DUNGEONS & DRAGONS in an Epic New Collaboration

Star Wars and Dungeons & Dragons are officially crossing over in a brand-new collaboration coming in 2027, and it's already got fans imagining the kinds of adventures they'll be able to create around the table.

The announcement came from Wizards of the Coast, which confirmed that a Dungeons & Dragons | Star Wars collaboration is on the way during the Season of Rebellion in 2027.

That's all we know. There aren't any details on what form this crossover will take, whether it'll be a full campaign setting, sourcebook, adventure module, miniatures, or something completely unexpected. But the announcement alone is enough to get both Star Wars fans and tabletop RPG players fired up.

After all, this is the kind of crossover people have been creating themselves for years through fan-made campaigns and homebrew rule sets. Now it's finally happening in an official capacity.

That leaves plenty of fun questions to speculate about. Will the Force replace traditional magic? Will players build parties made up of Jedi, smugglers, bounty hunters, droids, and maybe one very confused bard?
