Three people have died and several hikers – including Singaporeans – are missing after Indonesia’s Mount Dukono erupted on Friday (May 8), sending ash into the sky as rescuers race to reach those trapped.

Two of the dead are foreigners, said a local police chief, although there was no confirmation of their nationalities.
