War: US not considering ground troops in Iran, it’s waste of time -Trump

US President Donald Trump says the United States is not considering sending ground troops in the ongoing war in Iran.

Speaking to NBC News via telephone on Thursday, Trump said that would be a waste of time.

Trump also dismissed the warning of the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi.

According to him, Araghchi’s earlier remark that Iran was ready for a US or Israeli ground invasion was a wasted comment.

“It’s a waste of time. They’ve lost everything. They’ve lost their navy. They’ve lost everything they can lose,” he said.

The Republican equally stated that he was keen to see Iran’s leadership structure removed, adding that the United States wants to go in and clean out everything quickly.

DAILY POST recalls that the onslaught started last Saturday when the United States, alongside its ally, Israel, launched an attack on the Islamic Republic resulting in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader.
