US sending 200 troops to train Nigerian military – Riley Moore

US Congressman, Rep Riley Moore has disclosed that the United States is sending 200 troops to Nigeria to train its military to fight Islamist militants

Moore made this disclosure during an interview on Fox News on Tuesday.

According to him, sources on the ground have told him that the situation in Nigeria is a “bloodbath.”

He said, “As many as 300 have been killed throughout that region of Nigeria. We’ve had this priest who has been kidnapped as well, with 10 of his parishioners.

“I will point out a lot of those were Muslims, actually, that were refusing to submit to Sharia law…they were killed.

“But amongst those were also Christians, and they were burned inside of a church. They set it on fire.”

“We are making steps in the right direction to address this persecution. President Donald Trump is very singularly focused on addressing this.

“We now have special forces in Nigeria and a non combat man in a non combative manner. They are there assisting the Nigerians and we are sending 200 troops to train Nigerian military.”
