Kabir Kabo, director at Al-Noor Mosque Abuja, is dead

Dr Kabir Kabo Usman, the Director General of the International Center for Islamic Culture and Education, ICICE, (Custodians of Al-Noor Mosque), Wuse II, Abuja, is dead.

Family sources said he passed on Saturday at a hospital in Manchester, England, after an illness. Burial arrangement will be announced later.

Dr Kabir Kabo Usman was the Director General of the Center for Management Development, CMD, a parastatal under the Ministry of National Planning, from 2010 to 2018.

He was 67 years and hailed from Kabo town in Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State.

Dr Kabir Kabo attended Kabo Primary School and Government Secondary School Dambatta, Kano State, where he passed out in 1975.

He was at Bayero University Kano and graduated with B. Sc Chemistry in 1982. He had his Masters and Doctorate Degrees at Manchester University where also worked as an academic staff for about 20 years.
