2027: Atiku, Peter Obi want Tinubu’s job badly – Presidency

by · Daily Post

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday, said the presidential candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar and the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi wants the president’s job badly.

Onanuga made the remark while faulting politicians advocating for a reversal of policies that are making Nigeria great.

He was reacting to comments by the President of the Dangote Group, Aliko thanking Tinubu for removing fuel subsidy.

Dangote thanked Tinubu for democratizing the exchange and for ensuring that his refinery kicks off.

He said: “I want to Thank President Tinubu for taking bold moves by removing the subsidy, by democratizing the exchange rate, and also for this refinery.”

Reacting, Onanuga posted on X: “Atiku and Peter Obi, who badly want President Tinubu’s job, should listen to the encomium Aliko Dangote has showered on Tinubu and his policies.

“It doesn’t make any sense for any politician to advocate a reversal of the policies that are making Nigeria great.”
