George Ebong emerges chairman FCT NMA
by Ogaga Ariemu · Daily PostDr George Ebong has emerged as the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Federal Capital Territory, FCT Chapter.
Ebong defeated his opponent, Dr. Michael Olanrewaju, in an election conducted on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
He succeeds Dr. Ayogu Emeka as the Chairman of the NMA FCT.
Before his emergence as NMA FCT Chairman, Ebong was the Chairman of the Association of Resident Doctors, ARD, FCT Chapter.
In his acceptance remarks, Ebong appreciated FCT doctors for reposing their confidence in him and vowed to prioritize the welfare of members.
