by · Daily Post

National leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Seriake Dickson, has described as ‘very fruitful’ his meeting with the party chairmen in the North-West zone.

In a post on his verified X handle, Dickson said they reviewed preparations for the campaigns that would secure victory for all their candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The former Bayelsa State governor called on all members, supporters and stakeholders of the party to work together in the collective interest of the party and to ensure victory for all their candidates.

“It was a pleasure to host a strategic meeting of the national leadership of our party with the State chairmen of the North-West Zone, a very critical region in the politics of our country.

“I commend the leaders of the zone led by our Vice Presidential candidate, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for their commitment and readiness to work for the success of our party.

“The discussions were fruitful, and we remain confident that victory is achievable,” he wrote.

DAILY POST reports that the NDC has former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, and his Kano counterpart, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, as presidential and vice presidential candidates, respectively.
