BREAKING: Many feared trapped as three-storey building collapses in Lagos [PHOTO]

Many people are feared trapped beneath the rubble after a three-storey building collapsed in the Alakija area of Lagos State.

The incident was said to have occurred on Thursday, and the exact number of persons trapped could not be immediately ascertained at the time of filing this report.

The cause of the collapse has also not been ascertained.

Emergency responders are expected to commence rescue operations as efforts intensify to account for those feared trapped in the debris.
