BREAKING: Police move alleged fake agency DG Adeniyi Adeyemi to court for arraignment

The Force Headquarters has at last brought the detained Director-General of the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC, Adeniyi Mathew Adeyemi, before the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment on criminal charges.

Adeyemi, who was dressed in gorgeous white attire with white shoes to match, was brought to court by operatives of the Cybercrime Centre, a department under the Force Headquarters.

The alleged fake PFIPC DG was moved into the courtroom under tight security by fully armed plain clothes security personnel. He is billed for arraignment on Wednesday before Justice Mohammed Garba Umar.

The Federal Government, through the police, is set to put Adeyemi on trial in a charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, over allegations bordering on forgery and impersonation, among others.

It would be recalled that Adeyemi was arrested in Osogbo, the Osun State capital and has since been in police custody.

At the time of filing this report, Adeyemi is surrounded by heavily armed security operatives on the 4th floor of the court, pending the time he will be arraigned before Justice Umar.
