- Road Safety Minister Seán Canney contacted the RSA this week to express his unhappiness with the organisation over its absence in the aftermath of the fatal M9 motorway collision.
- A member of An Garda Síochana appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning charged with soliciting a person to murder a woman and three children in 2021.
- The president of a garda union believes that frontline gardaí may not be fully trained in pursuit driving until 2028.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger follows Liam and Noel Gallagher as they undertake their Live 25 tour, which kicked off a year ago in Cardiff and, of course, included two sell-out night’s in Croke Park in Dublin.
The trailer was released by Disney Plus on Tuesday and is due for cinema release in September, after a fancy outing at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival next month.
