Warhammer 40,000 is coming to Helldivers 2 and Rust Console Edition

Who doesn’t love a crossover event? Well, there’s two that were announced during Warhammer Skulls, with Warhammer 40,000 making its way into both Rust Console Edition and Helldivers 2.

The Rust Console Edition Warhammer 40,000 Pack brings new cosmetics into the game based around the Death Korps of Krieg, who are basically WWI trench war soldiers who wear gas masks all the time. This arrived in the game for PC last October, so it’s a bit of catch up on the console side of things.

But I get the feeling that the far bigger announcement will be that Warhammer 40,000 is coming to Helldivers 2. This is just an announcement that a Warbond with 40K gear is incoming, but you can bet that this will be a very popular premium gear kit.

Will it be Space Marines? Probably not, the Helldivers definitely feel more like the humble Imperial Guardsman, but it would really want to be based on some that have full face coverings. As with Rust, that could be the Death Korps of Krieg, but the Armageddon Steel Legion is another option, the Harakoni Warhawks a bit out of left field, or some other kind of special shock troopers that have better equipment than the regular folks.
