Warhammer Skull 2026 – All the game announcements and trailers
by Stefan L · tsaThe tenth Warhammer Skulls showcase has taken place today, bringing another barrage of video game announcements and updates from across the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 universes. OK, so it’s mainly 40K these days…
Let’s dive in with all the announcements:
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy closed beta now available
Owlcat Games’ second RPG in the 40K universe is still deep in development, but the studio has shared a new trailer and announced that the game is now in a closed beta testing phase, which will run right through until launch.
There’s also a collector’s edition with a Kroot statue.
Rogue Trader: The Infinite Museion DLC is coming
Expanding on the previous Owlcat RPG, The Infinite Museion DLC will bring the collectathon-obsessed Necrons into the mix of Rogue Trader when it launches on 11th June.
Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is out now on consoles
The vehicular combat game Speed Freeks is jumping from PC to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, launching today with a bunch of new features. The game now features cross-play, so you can race Orks across all three systems, and there’s a new level editor and workshop that is already bustling with custom maps and races to try out.
Warhammer Survivors and Boltgun 2 demos are now on Steam
Auroch Digital’s two Warhammer titles – Warhammer Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 now have demos available on Steam. Head here for more details.
Boltgun Boom brings the first game to mobile
Pre-register for the game across iOS and Android, going mobile later this year.
There’s Warhammer 40,000 cosmetics for Rust and for Helldivers 2
Yeah, the Helldivers 2 one is going to be heckin’ popular.
Battlesector is now Free to Try
Dawn of War IV launches on 17th September
More details about Dawn of War IV have emerged, the trailer featuring the Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Orks and Necron factions. The game will launch on 17th September, leading into a living campaign Crusade Mode mode coming post-release, with new campaigns, maps and mission editor and more coming through the first year.
Bhashiva and the Tiger Warriors are out now for Total War: Warhammer III
As was recently announced, the big tiger warriors are now joining the Grand Cathay forces.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is going back to Armageddon

Space Marine 2 has a free new update – out now
Year 2 of Space Marine 2 continues on with the next free new update, adding the Purgation Operation mission, as well as new Heroic variants for Bolt Carbine, Power Axe, Chainsword, Plasma Pistol and more. There’s a new Siege Mode update, and more.
The Skitarii are coming to Darktide
A new class emerges on 23rd June for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and it’s the leading mechanised combatants of the Adeptus Mechanicus. The class will be able to play many roles, depending on the skill tree path players follow.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch revealed
