Mother of two found dead day after male friend’s death

A 22-year-old mother of two allegedly died by suicide over an extramarital affair in Sampigehalli police station limits on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Dilshad, a native of Vijayapura, who married Krishna, a cab driver, six years ago. The couple were living in Srirampura extension in Sampigehalli police station limits along with their two minor children.

According to the police, Dilshad was active on social media and got in touch with a man from Hennur, identified as Johnson. The duo reportedly entered into a relationship. Johnson, 25, a labourer by profession, was concerned about the acceptance of their relationship and allegedly ended his life on Friday, said the police.

Dilshad who came to know about this on Saturday morning allegedly ended her life at her house.

Based on a complaint filed by her mother, the police have taken up a case of unnatural death for further investigation.
