Headmaster held for misbehaving with students in Salem

A 59-year-old headmaster of a government school in Salem was arrested for misbehaving with students on Friday. Subramaniyan, a resident of Yercaud Foothills, was accused by female students in the school of misbehaving with them. Separate investigations conducted by the Education Department and childline officials found prima facie evidence to support the allegations. Based on the evidence, the Education Department lodged a complaint with the Salem Town All Women’s Police, who registered a case, arrested the headmaster and remanded him in prison.
