An investigation has been launched after a woman was tragically found dead at a hotel in Shorne

A woman has tragically been found dead at a lakeside hotel, with police arresting a man "known to her".

The woman, in her 40s, was confirmed dead at the Inn on the Lake Hotel in Shorne after emergency services were called to the scene at 11.53am on Wednesday. The three-star hotel is just off the A2 between Gravesend and Strood.
