A Jewish School was blasted overnight in a 'targeted' attack in Amsterdam, according to Dutch media.

The explosion on Friday, March 13 evening has allegedly caused damage to the building.

The city's mayor Femke Halsema has said she believed the explosion was a 'targeted attack against the Jewish community'.

It is reported that police and fire services responded quickly to the incident and limited damage to the school. It is not yet known if there were any casualties.
