Commuters face delays as Transperth reports technical issues

Commuters in Perth’s south and north-east catching the train to work have been left waiting this morning, with technical issues impacting two of the city’s train lines.

Passengers were told all trains along the Mandurah line were halted due to technical issues.

Those at the Rockingham station were left waiting for over 20 minutes in front of a train, unable to board, as Transperth performed a “hard reset” of the line.

On X, Transperth confirmed delays were ongoing just before 8am due to technical issues, and that while trains were running they were outside normal schedule.

Passengers on the Ellenbrook line are facing similar problems, with Transperth confirming that technical issues were also causing delays for those commuters.
