by Donovan Erskine · ShacknewsRazer has announced the Soma Chroma, its latest gaming chair and the first in a new line. It features RGB lighting that can sync to different games and react to them in real time.
Razer announced the Soma Chroma today. The gaming chair, which features RGB lights around the headrest area, can be customized in the Razer Chroma app to display various colors and settings. The chair can also be set to react to your gameplay. The chair features integration for over 300 games, including 007 First Light, Overwatch, and Marvel Rivals. In a game like Overwatch, the chair’s RGB will react and change colors when a character pops their Ultimate ability.
The Soma Chroma can be plugged into a wall outlet or powered by a battery bank for users who want zero movement restrictions. A small pouch on the lower back of the chair can hold a power bank.
Razer says that the Soma Chroma is the first in a new line of chairs focused on immersion. It’s priced at $499 USD and will be released on June 25, 2026. Stick with Shacknews for more on Razer products.
